HistoryIn 1981, the Lord led Pastors Doug and Linda Graves to begin the ministry of Word of Faith Center. Starting off in a small storefront in Kennewick, Washington, God began to move dramatically in the lives of these families. It wasn’t long before the storefront was not able to accommodate the growth and the property on Rainier Street was purchased. Initially in a small auditorium on this property, Word of Faith Center continued to grow, until now where there are education wings, a large sanctuary for celebration services and even a youth center in historical downtown Kennewick. Today, over a thousand individuals call Word of Faith Center their home. Over the years, Pastors Doug and Linda have seen the power of God touch the lives of thousands of people in our cities, our nation and our world. Their desire is that all would experience the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Their belief, and the vision of Word of Faith Center is that “every believer is a leader”. And there are many opportunities for this to happen. Cell groups have been launched and people are coming to know the Lord daily, in a powerful way. Lives are being changed, from children, to youth to men and women. No matter what your background is, YOU are welcome at Word of Faith Center. |
