What is an Encounter?

The single most important step in life is to encounter a loving God who has the power to set you free in every area of your life.

Jesus said “If you hold to my teaching you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)

We’ve all experienced past hurts that have dragged us down and held us back. Sometimes you feel like you’re running in quicksand - you want to run the race of life but you can’t seem to move forward.

Bad habits, bitterness, depression, insecurities, doubt, and regret will be left behind as you experience the power of what Jesus did for you when He died on the cross. You’ll be able to move on and live a life of victory, freedom and faith. No matter if you’ve known Jesus for 30 years or just one day you will experience Him in a way you never have before!

There are separate Encounter retreats for men, women, and married couples. Each Encounter is three days long, and led by the Pastors and their leadership teams. Sign up at the information booth in the church lobby or ask your Connect Group leader.
