The Word of Faith Center "School of Leaders" is a three trimester school designed to help form your character as a disciple of Christ. Classes on doctrine and seminars on "gender and age specific" issues help each believer to round out their spiritual life to become a "leader" (person of influence).
G-12 School of Leaders
The School of Leaders prepares you to fulfill Christ's call upon your life to win the lost and make disciples. There are three terms, each ten weeks in length. The courses cover three primary areas of study and ministry activation. In order to attend School of Leaders you must first attend the Pre-Encounter, Encounter, and Post Encounter.
School of Leaders 1 - Foundations in Christ
SL-1 - will build a strong and meaningful foundation for your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ as well as a foundation for Christian living.
School of Leaders 2 - Cell Group Ministry and Leadership
SL- 2 - prepares and trains you in the fundamentals of leading a Cell Group and the vision of Winning, Consolidating, Discipling, and Sending.
School of Leaders 3 - Leadership Through the Government of 12
SL- 3 - imparts the essential leadership skills and anointing necessary to mentor leaders, multiply cell groups, and build groups of 12.
Our Schools of Leaders are high energy, fast-paced learning environments through the use of Power Point presentations, drama, and lessons based upon the seven learning styles people have. They are also "more than knowledge" in that each student receives personal ministry to them in their personal needs EVERY WEEK.
Finally, they are practical because the students have outside projects of ministry to their family or other new believers. Each student also reaches certain reading and personal goals each trimester and they feel themselves stretching as a person! Becoming a leader means to DO IT, not just "know it."
Is the School of Leaders a Bible School?
Yes, but a "shortened" form. It is designed for the average believer who has NO Bible knowledge but a desire to learn. Instead of the traditional 2-3 year Bible school, you can complete the school in less than 1 year!
What is a "Five Star Leader"?
When you complete your entire training and discipling at WOFC, you have been through five major growth stages:
- The "Encounter" Retreat weekend
- The "Post Encounter" (Introduction to the School of Leaders)
- The three trimesters of the School of Leaders
Our goal is "EVERY BELIEVER A LEADER." We know that God has a powerful plan for your life and that only through an "encounter" with Him, "training" in the Word of God, and "mentoring" by another leader will you become that "person of influence" you want to be in your family, your business, and your ministry.
School of Leaders 1 Format
School of Leaders 1 is a 2 hour class designed to increase your knowledge and understanding of Christian Doctrine and Personal/Family growth.
The 1st hour will be a lecture style class. The 2nd hour will be seminar style. For the 1st hour, all students will remain together to receive the lecture teaching.
The second hour seminar class is designed to minister to the needs of each individual student, so for this reason those that are single will be in a separate class from married men and women who are also taught separately.
Devotional Journal
Daily Devotional:
You will read a minimum of 2 chapters of the New Testament daily.

After reading these chapters you must respond to five questions: 1. What is the message God is speaking to you, 2. A promise that you can claim, 3. A commandment you must obey, 4. A warning to adhere to, 5. Personal application. This is to be done by writing in a journal or notebook of some kind, and should be done each morning before your day begins. This journal will be checked WEEKLY by the School of Leaders staff at the sign-in table. Please make sure your name is in your devotional.
Points Possible:
Your Devotional Journal is worth 1 point per day and counts towards both your Lecture and Seminar grade. You must complete 75% of your devotionals in order to pass School of Leaders 1.
"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary."
Psalm 63:1-2
