Cutting Edge Youth
Cutting Edge Youth Church is a ministry committed to reaching the youth of the Tri-Cities. Our passion is to see young people rise up and make an impact on their generation. We don't believe that teenagers have to wait until they are adults to get serious about serving God, but they have what it takes to serve him now. At Cutting Edge, we are all about equipping and releasing young people into ministry. We feel that God has given every teenager a gift and a talent that should be used for the advancement of the Kingdom. Cutting Edge is about winning youth for Christ, discipleship, building great relationships, community outreach and radical services that will make a life changing impact upon a generation. Marlando Jordan
Marlando Jordan, an anointed man of God, is our Youth Director at Word of Faith Center. Marlando has been preaching since the age of 14 and has an incredible fire and passion for this generation. He recently got married to an awesome woman of God, Megan, who is by his side in youth ministry. Marlando has experience in creating, organizing, and hosting youth events.
One of these events is Youth on Fire, an organization designed to build effective ministry clubs on junior high and high school campuses. Another event, Invasion, has powerful men and women of God from all over the nation speaking, worshipping, and making a huge impact on the youth of this nation. Invasion, launched in 1998 and now an annual conference, is one of the largest youth conferences in the state of Washington.
Marlando also oversees a 7000+ square foot building, designed with progressive technology and architecture to target the youth of the community. This outreach center provides a positive influence for young men and women, giving them a place to build friendships and grow spiritually.
Marlando has a strong desire to see people walk in the fullness of God and to help them reach their God-given destines. His enthusiasm and passion for this generation brings a unique and bold style of preaching. You are guaranteed to be challenged and motivated to be all that God has called you to be as you receive from this anointed man of God.
Cutting Edge Youth Ministries
Roots
A junior high ministry aimed at rooting and grounding our youth in the Word of God and their relationship with our Father God. In Roots we equip the youth by training them in their gifts and talents, so they can use them in ministry and in life. Every month we participate in an outreach event, aimed towards our community, loving our cities with no strings attached. We grow true relationships with the youth, building trust and showing God's love to kids who have never experienced his love before. Join us every Wednesday night, 7:00p.m at Cutting Edge Youth Center. We would love to see you there.
Helps Ministry
This ministry provides young people with the opportunity to serve in various areas such as greeting, ushering, cleaning, and assisting in the game room area. Our goal is to teach and train young people how to be true servants of God.
Security Ministry
Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for teenagers whether they are here for church or on a special event night. Our security team is comprised of several adults that have had volunteered to watch over the youth.
Drama
The CE Drama Troop is a tightly knit company of anointed performers who take their talents and skills beyond the world's standard of theatre by ministering the Word of God through acting, building, crafting, and technical work. Not only is this a troop keen on receiving truth from Christ's finished work, but also they are all intent on showing in visual performances.
Care Ministry
Do you like meeting new people? If so then you will enjoy being a part of this ministry. Our goal is to turn visitors into members by creating a warm and friendly environment. Each visitor fills out a card that they turn in and a care ministry worker will sit down to talk with them to answer any questions that they might have and let them know about upcoming events. We want to treat you like royalty!
Discipleship Groups
This ministry provides teaching, training and mentorship for teenagers in a small group setting. Our meetings take place once a week for about an hour. Guys and girls meet in separate groups.

- To instill in the lives of teenagers that discipleship is a lifestyle not a class or a program.
- To help young people discover their gifts and talents.
- To impart the vision of winning souls and making disciples.
- To provide an opportunity for relationship building.
Ministry Team
This ministry provides teenagers with the resources to lead others to Christ. We believe that every person should have a passion and know how to win souls and make disciples. Therefore we highly recommend that you consider becoming a part of this ministry.
Media
If Cutting Edge were a door, it's media ministry, "Weapons of Mass Creation", would be its hinges. This team of talented artists, technicians and forward thinkers are responsible for the image and visual communication of all ministries at Cutting Edge. From graphic and web design to audio, lighting and video this team of people are in constant development and works toward creating an experience that is first, Christ-centered, and second, a vehicle for drawing youth into ministry and the works of the kingdom.
Praise & Worship
Our goal as a worship team is to provide a relevant and anointed worship service. We are dedicated to providing cutting edge music that is anointed as well as appealing to the youth. We desire for every teenager to know what it's like to experience the presence of God. This ministry is dedicated to providing excellence in music.

Cutting Edge Youth Events
Winter Camp
Each year, we have an awesome winter camp that impacts the lives of young people. This camp provides youth with the opportunity to develop relationships with their peers have lots of fun and have an encounter with God.
Summer Camp
Every summer we network with other youth ministries and participate in a summer conference held at Spokane Christian Center. This is a week full of all sorts of fun activities, powerful praise and worship, workshops on various topics, and incredible speakers.
Invasion
Every October, a dynamic youth conference is held that draws in hundreds of young people from all over our region. This conference provides dynamic praise and worship, dance, drama, workshops, and anointed speakers from all over the country. Groups from churches in Spokane and Seattle have come to this conference. Many lives have been radically changed by this conference.
Concerts
Throughout the year, we will bring in different bands for the sole purpose of reaching the youth of our community.
Friday Night Hang Outs
Several times a month on Friday nights we open our youth building from 7:00p.m to 11:00p.m for games, food, movies, fun, and fellowship. From time-to-time we will also have a concert. This gives our youth as well as the youth of the community an opportunity to develop relationships with each other in a positive and safe environment.
Fresh Fire Café
We all know that teenagers like to eat lots of food. Our café provides a variety of food to purchase at an inexpensive price along with an area to sit and visit. Items include chimichangas, nachos, sausage dogs, candy, and etc. The café is open during all service times and on special event nights.
Theme Nights
Every other month, we center a night on a theme. Our goal in having these nights is to center the service on a specific topic by doing a dramatic presentation or having a guest speaker.
Dinner Theater
Interactive Dinner Theater provides patrons with the opportunity to become part of an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and a mystery!
Outreach Night
Four times a year (once a quarter) we have what we call an outreach night. This night is specifically geared towards reaching the unchurched. The entire service is centered on a specific theme with drama, decorations, or a guest speaker. These services are by far radical and life changing.
